What is the difference between mixing and mastering?
Mixing involves balancing and enhancing individual tracks (like vocals, instruments, and effects) to create a cohesive song. Mastering is the final polish, where I optimize the overall sound for loudness, clarity, and consistency across different playback systems (e.g., streaming platforms, vinyl, or CDs). I offer both services separately or as a bundle.
What is your pricing structure?
My pricing starts at $90 per track for basic mixing, $60 for mastering, and $130 for a combined package. Custom quotes are available for complex projects like albums or EPs. Factors influencing cost include track length, number of stems, and revisions.
How long does the process take?
Turnaround time is typically 3-7 business days for a single track, depending on project complexity and my current workload. I’ll provide an estimated timeline upon submission.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes! I include up to 2 free revisions per project to ensure you're 100% satisfied. Additional revisions are $20 each. Please provide clear, specific feedback (e.g., "Boost the bass in the chorus") to help us refine your sound quickly.
What genres do you specialize in?
I’ve been making electronic music for about 25 years, so that is the main genre that I’ve worked with. However, my skills encompass far more than just one genre. I have learned enough in those years that I can translate my abilities to any musical style/genre you require. Rap, Pop, Indie, Jazz, Rock, etc. Just make sure you read the submission requirement PDF and we’ll be good to go!
What equipment and software do you use?
I have three main DAWs that I support, Ableton, Cubase, and Pro Tools. I use a combination of analog and digital gear when mixing and mastering tracks. My studio is acoustically treated for precise results. All work is done in a professional environment to deliver broadcast-quality audio.
How do I pay for services?
